Tonight you can expect cooler readings but not the cold stuff we had last night when we dove into the frigid 20s! Look for lows in the 40s tonight under mostly clear skies. A big warm-up is the main story from the KRBC Weather Lab for the near term as highs on Thursday will ramp up into the 70s and on Friday I do believe we will hit 80 degrees! A dry weekend ahead with a minor cool down to 60 degrees on Saturday and by Sunday afternoon we should have readings in the 70s again. Lots of sun each day and dry weather on into early next week it appears.

The Storm Prediction Center has The Big Country in an area with a risk for a "non-severe" thunderstorms tonight. As far as numbers go, I'm going with a 30% chance across the area for showers/t'storms. Remember, some of these could pulse up and reach severe levels, with the greatest concerns being large hail and damaging winds. Tomorrow, we'll have a 20% chance for showers/t'storms, once again.
