United Way to Offer Free Tax Filing Service

Starting next week Abilene residents will have a chance to get their taxes done for free.

The United Way of Abilene is offering their free tax preparation service starting Monday.

The service is run by volunteers that are certified to help file taxes.

This year they will also have computers available to file taxes online with help from the volunteers here in Abilene.

The service is free and open to the public.

Appointments can be made by calling 211.
