After a day in which Abilene offiically tied the record high for the date at 82 degrees, later tonight a cold front will slice through the area from the north and much cooler air will filter in by morning. Lows will be back in the lower 30s. No precipitation is expected and skies tonight should be mostly clear. Saturday's highs will be in the upper 50s under mainly sunny skies. On Sunday, we should warm back to around 70 degrees with mostly sunny skies again in the forecast. Slight rain chances are still expected by mid next week. Have a great weekend everybody!- Chief Meteorologist Mike Cole
