President Obama's State of the Union address to congress is tonight at 8:00 on KTAB.

The man who wrote Bill Clinton's final State of the Union address says President Obama has a lot riding on tonight's big speech.
Former Clinton speechwriter Jeff Shesol says the State of the Union address is always a political event and "never more so than in an election year."
He expects President Obama to use the opportunity to lay out his agenda for what he hopes to accomplish before the fall election.
The speech will be President Obama's third State of the Union address and the last one before November's presidential election.
