Nolan Co. Commissioners Select Architect for Jail, Courthouse Projects

The Nolan County Commissioners announced their selection of an architect
for the new county jail and courthouse improvements during their
meeting on Monday morning, Jan. 23, 2012.
Chosen for the project was the Wiginton Hooker Jeffry Architect firm, a Dallas-based company. Before the announcement was made, Precinct 4 Commissioner Tony Lara thanked those who made presentations to the commissioners -- some who were in attendance -- for their time and professionalism during the process.
Also in the meeting, County Judge Tim Fambrough praised the county and its safety director, Precinct 3 Commissioner Tommy White, for earning the 2011 Safety Award from the Texas Association of Counties for meeting and completing a number of criteria.
