Snyder Development Corporation to Review Incentive Package

The Development Corporation
of Snyder will consider
paying qualified employees of a
local company as part of an incentive
agreement.
The payments, which will be discussed during a meeting at noon on Tuesday, will be for Construction Turnaround Specialists.
The incentive agreement from Oct. 31 will allocate the company $2,000 per new employee, with a cap at 10. The agreement requires employees to live in Scurry County and to be employed for one calendar year.
The initial incentive agreement called for the DCOS to pay $10,000 for each qualifying employee.
The agenda also lists an executive session to discuss potential business prospects. Any action after the closed-door session will be discussed and voted on in open session. The board meets at its offices at American State Bank.
