When you drive past the 2100 block of Victoria in north Abilene you see graffiti everywhere.

The neighborhood says they are frustrated and have reached the point of giving up.

Although graffiti covers one fence, a resident says there's no point to painting over it because the vandals will inevitably strike again.

"You know, you can't do nothing," says one frustrated resident who requested to remain identified. "I wish I could catch them kids, I'd follow them to their house and talk to their parents and see what they're going to do about it."

Just recently neighborhood vandals spray-painted a swastika on one woman's house. She says even though she just finished painting her house two weeks ago, she won't paint over the newly-acquired graffiti because they'll just come back and do it again.

It's a battle the bad guys seem to be winning.
