Testimony continues today in the trial of a man charged with continuous sexual assault of a child.

Miguel Delgado is the first person in Abilene charged with continuous sexual assault of a child, a fairly new charge that carries a minimum of 25 years in prison.

A man who identified himself as the father of the victim told the jury that the victim was only 2 years old at the time of the abuse. The witness testified that his daughter acted like she was afraid of him and would not allow him to change her diaper or give her a bath.

Delgado faces a prison term of 25-99 years if the jury determines that he's guilty of the charges.
