By: Maxine Ridling and Stetson Samuel
Updated: February 2, 2012
The Abilene Prairie Dogs held a news conference on Thursday to answer questions regarding the upcoming 2012-2013 season.

This spring, the team will take the field for the first time since 1999 and they are planning on playing 32 games at home.

The home field will be the Walt Driggers Stadium at McMurry University.

Home games won't start until early June, when the McMurry baseball season ends.

Depending on how this season goes, the Prairie Dogs hope to have their own stadium next year.

The general manager, Mike Babcock is also the GM for the San Angelo team.
