2 Injured in Shackelford County Accident

A traffic accident left two people injured in the northeastern part of the Big Country Thursday night.

Ambulance attendants responded to the accident on Highway 180 near the Shackelford-Stephens County line, about halfway between Albany and Breckenridge at about 8:15 p.m.

One of the victims was transported to Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene.

The crash is being investigated by troopers from the Department of Public Safety.
