A Taylor County grand jury has indicted an Abilene man on charges of endangering a child and evading arrest following a bizarre incident last year.

Abilene police arrested Shaquan Tyrell Johnson when he and another man led police on a car chase last September.

Police were trying to stop the car after being called to a criminal mischief case in which the two men were suspected of breaking a window by shooting a paintball gun.

Johnson and the other man allegedly pushed a 7-year-old boy into the apartment of some strangers near North Seventh and Pioneer Drive.
