"If you're like me and tend to wait until the last minute at times, you can end up in the dog house," explains Jason Beard, owner of Cordell's.
But if you'd prefer to stay in your own comfy bed, instead of the dog house, Beard says Cordell's has something for everyone. The most popular chocolate treat for a Valentines Day present, is their sipping chocolate.
"Think of hot chocolate on steroids," says Beard, "this is not coco powder, this is five different types of ground chocolate."
Cordell's sipping chocolate is also easy to blend, by just adding water to create a thick, rich chocolaty drink.
And this year it isn't just about the parents, there is even something for the kids to enjoy. Combine milk chocolate, corn flakes, and pecans, to get Cordell's "Pecan Crunchies."
Lastly, if your sweetheart doesn't exactly have a sweet tooth, Cordell's specializes in oils, vinegar and spices from around the world.
