Abilene Reporter News Speaks About 'TV Weekly' Controversy

By: BigCountryHomePage.com Staff Reports
Updated: February 7, 2012
The Abilene Reporter News has issued the following statement regarding their new monthly fee for 'TV Week,' a section that lists television schedules for each respective upcoming week:

After doing some research on readership trends, we made a decision to transition our TV Week offerings. Home delivery customers can get the full section for a charge of $2 per month. For readers who do not wish to subscribe to TV Week, prime time television grids are offered in the daily newspaper Monday through Saturday. A Sunday grid will be added soon.

We have communicated this change via ads throughout the newspaper and on the cover of TV Week itself. We will continue to do so in the paper and online at reporternews.com. Additionally, customers who want to subscribe to TV Week or speak to us about their subscription can reach us at (325) 267-9032

OR, you can just go to tvguide dot com for free. ARN is just trying to make up for the low, low numbers of people subscribing to their biased and well opinionated newspaper.
