We want to spend as much time with our young children as possible but research published in the journal of family psychology finds, it may not be good for new mom.

The study shows working mothers of young children reported less depression and more of them rated their health as excellent compared to stay at home moms.

Websites divinecaroline.com and jobs and moms.com say these are the best jobs for moms wanting to get back to work.

First, try writing. Find a job as a freelancer creating anything from press releases to speeches to magazine or web articles.

Accounting, book keeping and legal work are also good options. Finding smaller firms with flexible hours can help you earn extra income and still have time for the kids.

Health care is so much in demand. A new mom with a medical background can find fulfilling part-time or full-time work.

Some sales jobs let you set your own schedule.

You can work more or less depending on your financial and child care needs. A few options to help new moms be happier, healthier, and maybe richer.

A survey of more than 60,000 women found the top "happiest" jobs for working moms were pharmaceutical, bio-tech and clerical positions because of their flexibility, work life balance and good management.
