Mother of Wrecked Fedex Truck Driver Scared For Her Son

It happened about five miles south of Abilene Regional Airport and It took nearly two hours to free the Fedex driver who was trapped in his truck.

His mother was on the scene watching.

38 year old Troy Sosbee hit the back of a pickup truck driven by 75 year old J.W.Smith as Smith slowed to make a turn off of highway 36.

Smith was taken to the hospital by ambulance with head injuries but will be okay, meanwhile Sosebee was pined in the wreckage of his Fedex truck

His mother was called to the scene by a witness.

When she arrived she spoke to him as fire crews worked to get him out.

Crews got Sosebee out threw the back of the truck and flew him to Hendrick Medical Center probably with a broken leg.
