People all across West Central Texas are provided 1500 services in the Abilene database, ranging from paying an electric bill to trying to figure out how to put together the funds to pay for surgery.
The data is collected and distributed to find out which needs are in the community and the best way to meet them.
When the program started in 2005, they celebrated having handled 26,000 calls; but in 2011 they received over 78,000.
The organization sees those in need finding value in the services and continuing to make calls.
