'Arrive Alive: Don't Text & Drive' Campaign Continues at AHS

Updated: August 22, 2012
Abilene High continued their "Arrive Alive: Don't Text and Drive" campaign today.

Family members of Alex Brown, a teen killed in a texting while driving accident, spoke to the student body.

The AHS student council and the Alex Brown foundation hope students understand that texting while driving can be deadly.

"Statistics are full of people that said 'That's not going to happen to me,' and they continued their behavior and it happened to them," says Jeanne Brown of the Alex Brown Foundation.

Abilene High will continue the no texting and driving campaign throughout the year.
