Texas Gas Prices Continue Upward Swing

Triple-A Texas spokesperson Sarah Schimmer expects prices will continue to rise, because Spring Break is just a few weeks away.
She adds oil prices were also up this week forcing gas prices higher.
The statewide average is up six-cents at $3.45 for a gallon of regular unleaded.
That's just seven-cents less than the national average, which is at $3.52 a gallon.
The most expensive gasoline average in the state is in Dallas and Fort Worth at $3.49 a gallon.
That's up 8 cents in Dallas and 9 cents in Fort Worth.
Amarillo has the least expensive average in Texas up a dime at $3.28 a gallon.
San Antonio's average jumped 7 cents to $3.43 a gallon this week.
Austin's average is up 6 cents to $3.45, while Houston drivers are also paying $3.45, up 4 cents this week.
