This week we're highlighting Kris Boylan from Abilene.
Kris was nominated by her friend Jennifer Bolden who says, she is always reaching out to help others.
Kris has been a campaigner for the the Prayer Child Foundation, which helps children in need experience a normal childhood. Jennifer says Kris encouraged her to apply for funding with the program, to receive a service dog and medical needs for her family.
She says "we would have never known about this program without Kris. She has also held several fundraisers for us and has done this all on her own."
So far two out of the three people who've applied for funding have received $850 dollars from the organization.
Tamara Wood also commented on the KTAB 4u Facebook page about Kris, saying "Kris hosted a fundraiser for us to raise money for our son Alex's service dog and is going to help us as we fund raise to get to Ohio to train with his dog for two weeks. She told me about the Prayer Child Foundation and we got $850 to put towards our goal! She has been awesome!"
