The Lady Bulldogs are most likely the best team in the state in Class 3A, and some players would let that go to their heads. Head coach Tri Danly says, however, his girls come to the gym and get their job done. They don't worry about all that other stuff.
Wylie head coach Tri Danly says, "They're making the most of the opportunity. They are really laid back. When the ball is tipped, and the game starts, it's a total make over. During practice and to get ready to that point, they're working to try to improve."
Brittany McPherson added, "We're a very experienced team. We have a lot of girls back from last year. We're helping the younger team get their nerves shook off, and we're going to do everything it takes to get back."
Kylie Jenkins said, "Coach tells us it's our job to step up and our part. I feel like we encourage each other, well. We understand the circumstances, and we fight through that."
The Lady Bulldogs are headed east for the 2nd time in less than a week. They are set to meet Decatur at Tarleton State in the regional quarterfinals at 7:30pm.
