Man Arrested in Connection to Coleman Liquor Store Robbery

A man was arrested on Tuesday for robbing a Coleman liquor store almost two weeks ago, according to ColenmanNews.com.

According to the website, 35-year-old Anthony Lewis Isbell of Mertzon, Texas was arrested Tuesday after an investigation by multiple agencies including the Coleman Police Department and Coleman County Sheriff's Department, among others.

Isbell allegedly entered the store around 4:35 p.m., and assaulted the business owner behind the counter before opening the register and taking money.

He was arrested in San Angelo by investigators of the Tom Green County Sheriff's Department and was released from the Tom Green County jail on Wednesday after posting bond.

Coleman County District Attorney Heath Hemphill will prosecute this robbery case in 42nd District Court in Coleman, Texas.
