Noah Project takes care of domestic violence victims but the organization also stresses the importance of learning to avoid these instances altogether.
The workshop is designed to train volunteers in primary prevention. Volunteers aren't their only target audience, however.
"We also like to encourage other agencies that work with populations in the community or within schools, that they come to these workshops as well and take part in learning about domestic violence and the issues that surround it as well," said Development Director Karen Dansby.
This workshop was made possible by a $2500 grant by the Abilene Rotary Club.
