News of a young girl in need of a diabetic alert service dog sparked a local business to want to help.

When Lithia Toyota found out about fundraising for Ashley Bolden to get a service dog, they wanted to help as well.

Saturday, the car dealership donated $100 to Ashley's fund for every vehicle sold.

They also donated 2-dollars for every oil change they did.

General Manager, Kenan Pyeatt commented that this fundraiser was something very important to the employees at the dealership.

He said, "I think it's really important that we take care of our own, people that are in our community, and somthing like this where you can actually see it and you can see what the dog does for Ashley and her everyday life, it's really important for us."

Ashley received her dog last weekend, but the family is still raising funds to pay for it.
