An Abilene-based Christian relief organization is sending their services to Zimbabwe.

Global Samaritan Resources loaded up a large container of relief supplies this morning to send to the Karanda Mission Hospital in Zimbabwe.

Donations consist of medical supplies, dehydrated foods, clothes, shoes and other items.

Several volunteers spent the morning packing up over 27,000 pounds in supplies, which will now embark on a three-month journey to Africa.
