If you're needing a little more lone-star influence in your home, one downtown Abilene shop is hooking you up just in time for Texas Independence Day.

We sat down with Glenn and Carol Dromgoole, owners of Texas Star Trading Co., to see just how much Texas charm they have.

"We both had other careers, I had been a sales rep traveling around west Texas and decided i had always kind of wanted to do this and Glenn encouraged me so we just decided to do this and we've had a lot of fun with it.", explain Carol.

Glenn says, "Well we offer Texas books, gifts, gourmet, T-shirts, souvenirs, we focus on things that are made in Texas and that are offered by Texas companies."

Be sure to head down to Cypress Street to find all the Texas gear you need. You can also connect with them on Facebook and their website www.texasstartrading.com.
