Glad To Be Headed Back To State

The Wylie Lady Bulldogs are in the State Tournament for the 3rd year in a row.

Peyton Little and the Lady Dogs are the defending state champions this time down in Austin.

They have been ranked at the top of Class 3A for most of the season, and they are glad to be back in Austin.

Head coach Tri Danly said, "We feel like we've been there before, we know what to do, know the routine," Danley said. "But at the same time its a different team, a different group of girls. And its just alot of excitement  here at the school. "

Future Texas A&M Aggie Peyton Little added, "You know, its a great feeling, we're so excited," Little said. "We're so excited to get the opportunity to go down to austin again, for the third year in a row and we're a really experienced group this year. Thursday we'll be ready to play and hopefully get into that game Saturday." 

They Wylie Lady Bulldogs are #1 in Class 3A, and they are favored to repeat as champions this year. Wylie plays Liberty Hill on Thursday at 3:30pm.
