Upgrades in Progress for Abilene Water Storage Tank

Abilene's elevated water storage tank is getting $700,000 in upgrades.

Crews have already started working on the inside and outside of the tank, making structural improvements.

The tank, that you can see from the winters freeway, will also get a brand new coat of paint. The last time the tank was renovated was back in the early 1990's.
