The Jim Ned Lady Indians are on their way to States. Jim Ned hold a rich tradition of basketball excellence, but unlike the Lady Wylie Bulldogs who were there last year, its been since 2008 since the Lady Indians have headed to Austin. Putting that into perspective... the current Senior and Junior classmen were in 8th and 7th grade when that happened. However its a memory the girls remember vividly.

"It means a lot. When they won state in 08' I remember all of it, I looked up to them, and now that I get to do what they did is a blessing" Says Lexi Tut.

"I moved here in 5th grade,  and as soon as I saw the basketball team I wanted to be on that floor. My freshman year, I wanted to be a part of it. To actually be there now, its blowing my mind." Adds Blythe Weatherly.

The Lady Indians will have their chance to continue to make a memory of their own starting Friday at 8:30 am.
