Brownwood Woman Pleads Guilty to Drug Charges, Gets Prison Sentence

A Brownwood woman will serve prison time after pleading guilty to several drug-related charges.

Lacey Diane Westerman pleaded guilty to the felony offenses possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver in a drug-free zone, tampering with or fabricating physical evidence, and possession of a controlled substance in a drug-free zone and was sentenced to 10 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice-Institutional Division in each case.


Brown County Sheriff's Office arrested the 23-year-old woman in May of 2011.
