Survey on Sign Ordinance Shows Split Opinion

By: Gina Benitez
Updated: March 2, 2012
The Abilene Chamber of Commerce distributed a survey to the public about their stance on the possible sign regulations.

Small business owners have been passionate about the possible regulation of signs, however only 38 percent of those surveyed believe signs should not be regulated.

That's compared to 44 percent who say only some should be regulated.

The smallest representation reflected in the survey shows 17 percent who believe all business signs should be regulated.
