Wylie Lady Bulldogs Repeat as State Champs

The Wylie Lady Bulldogs The Wylie Lady Bulldogs win their second straight State Championship over Celina 57-43.
The Lady Bulldogs have had one of the more impressive runs in high school basketball over the past four years. They had a chance to build on that this morning in Austin by winning their second straight state title.
Head coach Tri Danley looked to help his girls to a second straight state title, Celina would prove tough though. Early in the first half, Bailey turner dished it out to Britany McPherson who nailed a three pointer to put Wylie up by two.
Seconds later, Presley Stastny drove to the basket, bounced it to KJ Stastny underneath and she put it up for two. Brittany McPherson would be hot the whole first half as she sank another three.
And the Wylie Bulldogs would not look back as they would take care of Celina to take the state championship for the second year in a row.
