Wylie Football Schedule Released

The 2012 version of the Wylie Football schedule, consisting of eight playoff teams, was released today.

The Bulldogs schedule split evenly with five home and five road games, begins August 31st with a trip to play the State Finalist Argyle Eagles and runs through November 9 with a home finale against Sweetwater.

The schedule contains eight playoff teams. After the trip to Argyle the Bulldogs come home to face the Bridgeport Bulls on September 7th at 7:30. The next week Wylie stays at home to take on The Graham Steers at 7:30, before heading down to Brownwood the following week to take on their former district rival.

September ends with a home game against the Lubbock Estacado Matadors at 7:30.

October starts off with a bye-week, before they head out west to play familiar district foe Big Spring at 7:05 on October 12th, before welcoming their first of two new district opponents in Monahans to Bulldog Stadium on the 19th. The 2nd district newcomer Midland Greenwood welcomes Wylie to their home stadium on October 26th.

November begins with an old-fashioned Rivalry game with Snyder in Snyder at 7:30. The regular season closes at Bulldog Stadium with a 7:30 match-up with Sweetwater.
