Funeral Set For Fire Victim

The woman who died in a weekend apartment fire will be laid to rest Wednesday.

Funeral services for Patricia Jacobson will be at 2 p.m. at Bailey-Howard Funeral Home in Clyde, followed by burial at the Hamby Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, located at 105 Oak Street in Clyde.

Jacobson died early Sunday morning when the north Abilene apartment she shared with her husband caught fire. Timothy Jacobson was critically injured, and remains in the burn unit at University Medical Center in Lubbock.

Abilene fire investigators have ruled the fire was started by a discarded cigarette.
