Third Man Announces Taylor Co. Sheriff Candidacy

The race for Taylor County Sheriff now has three candidates in the running.

Art Casarez filed his paperwork at the Taylor County Elections office.

He will be running against current Sheriff Les Bruce and Deputy Ricky Bishop.

Casarez has several years of law enforcement experience with the Abilene Police Department, the Department of Public Safety and the probation department.
