Scurry Co. Grand Jury Indicts 2 for Sexual Assault

Two men were indicted by a Scurry County grand jury Monday for sexual assault.

Samuel Rubio-Covarrubias, 19, and 21-year-old Jose Antonio Ferrusca-Ramirez were indicted for the July 15 offense of sexual assault, a second-degree felony.

The indictment for both men states that they had sexual intercourse with a child younger than 17 years old.

Ramirez is in jail on a $10,000 bond. Covarrubias is not in jail and his bond was set at $10,000.
