"Just One of Those Things" is a romantic comedy in the style of classic movies like "Casablanca" and "Gone With the Wind."
A young woman on her way to her wedding is stranded in a small train station and meets a hopeless romantic janitor who attempts to sweep her off her feet.
She is forced to decide between her grounded fiance and eccentric custodian. The play also has some local ties.
"It's a really great script written by an Abilene native. He graduated from Wylie and then McMurry. He's now doing his graduate work in Chicago so he's the playwright and it's a really great little script," says director Joshua Tumblin.
There are still open seats for tonight and the play continues its run over the next two weekends.
