Wylie Tennis looking for 5th straight Title

The Wylie Bulldog Tennis team will have a chance to win a fifth straight State title on Saturday.

The rain in the area meant a change in format and venue, But the matches went on. The Wylie Bulldogs looking for state title number 5 in a row. Wylie took on center today at the Abilene Country Club.

In boys singles Wes Snecker, Served for Wylie, he was good on the return, But Center had an un forced error so Snecker won the match for Wylie. Over in mixed doubles Miller Davis and Amanda Potts taking on Center, serving. Davis with the nice return but Potts put it away with the beautiful shot. Another win for the Bulldogs as a pattern started developing.

Wylie won the match, nine matches to zero. Even with the delays and changes with the cold and wet weather, they have not lost a match in the tournament. The defending champs feel like they are ready for just about anything.
