Eternal Threads for Women Around the World

By: Marlisa Goldsmith
Updated: March 10, 2012
People in the Big Country Saturday had an opportunity to help women in developing countries around the world.

In honor of International Women's Month, Eternal Threads is celebrating women all around the world.

At their open house, they featured handmade items from women in the 12 different countries they work with.

Items purchased help end poverty and oppression for the women and their children.

"You can also read about the women and learn about the project we're doing with them," said Eternal Threads founder, Linda Egle. "What kind of products they make, what the sale of thier product does for them, so it's a learning experience. We're a little bit like an interactive learning experience as well as a place for people to see the products."

Eternal Threads holds an open house every second Saturday of each month.
