Brownwood to Test Emergency Sirens Today

Brownwood Fire Chief Del Albright announced that a test of the emergency sirens will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Monday, March 12th, rescheduled from the regular testing day which is the first Monday of the month.

Due to the malfunction of computers causing Brown County's 911 service to go offline, the emergency sirens in Brownwood were not able to be conducted on the regularly scheduled day.

Please note that this will be a test of the equipment only.
