Updated: March 12, 2012
An annual youth job fair in Abilene saw record-low attendance.

Last Friday's "Hot Dog, I Got a Job!" employment fair at the Abilene Civic Center saw over 35 vendors, but only 350 job seekers.

Workforce Solutions, the host of the fair, says they normally see around 750 to 900 attendees.

By request of the employers, the fair was held earlier than it has been in past years.

Workforce Solutions says those in attendance received rave reviews.
