Webcast: Jury Deliberating Fate of Woman Charged with Shooting Alleged Intruder

The trial of an Abilene woman charged in a shooting incident is now in the hands of a jury.

Final arguments concluded this morning in the trial of Deborah Dearing, who is charged with aggravated assault after shooting a man at her home in October of 2010.

She says she fired a gunshot when the a man who had been acting aggressively barged into her north Abilene home.

Witnesses at the time told police that the shooting victim was outside the house when the shot was fired.
