Car Burglars Hit Brownwood Neighborhood

Burglars struck several different vehicles within approximately six blocks of each other early Monday morning in a Brownwood neighborhood.

According to BrownwoodNews.com, police were dispatched to the 700 block of Avenue J at 8:01 Monday morning regarding the burglary of a vehicle. Police were called to the 1800 block of Fourth Street regarding the same crime just 15 minutes later, and responded to the final call in the 1800 block of Vincent around noon.

All three complainants reported that sometime overnight their vehicles were broken into. All three complainants reported missing cash and debit/credit cards.

The third caller also reported missing two amplifiers, three sub-woofers and two speaker boxes from two vehicles at their residence.
