Funeral Services Set for Early Murder Victim

Funeral services have been set for the man who was shot and killed in the Early Donuts parking lot on Monday.

Eddie Lopez will be laid to rest Friday morning at 11:00 at Victory Life Church in Brownwood.

Rene Pinon turned himself into Early police Monday morning after performing what he called a "crime of passion." Police later reported that money may have been a factor.

Pinon remains in jail on $250,000 bond.
