Rain chances will continue to be on the rise today, including the slight risk of some thunderstorms throughout the area.

Temperatures won't be budging too much as highs reach only into the mid 70's today with rain chances increases as the day progresses. The heaviest rainfall and best chance of thunderstorms will remain to the western portion of the Big Country. This weekend will keep the chances of light rain at 20% with mostly cloudy skies.

We are monitoring the best chances of some heavy rainfall and even potentially severe thunderstorms to arrive early Monday as our next frontal system makes its way through.
