Strong to severe thunderstorms will be a possibility across the area through tonight. Large damaging hail appears to be the biggest threat. Severe Thunderstorm Watches are ongoing for much of western portions of the Big Country. At the moment, Abilene and Taylor county are not included in these watches. The weekend looks, mild and muggy with isolated storm chances continuing. Highs will be in the upper 70s this weekend. Another round of strong to severe storms is possible on Sunday late in the day on through Monday night. Have a great weekend! - KRBC Chief Meteorologist Mike Cole
