TxDOT Abilene to Host Public Meeting on I-20 Frontage Roads Project

The Texas Department of Transportation Abilene District and Abilene Metropolitan Planning Organization will host a public meeting to discuss an upcoming project to convert two-way frontage roads to one-way operation and relocate ramps on the north and south sides of I-20 from Pine Street to Loop 322.

The meeting will take place Wednesday, March 21 from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Region 14 Education Service Center, located at 1850 SH 351 in the Eastland meeting room (enter main building, take hallway to the right from the lobby, meeting room is first room on right).

Discussion of this high-priority project for the city of Abilene, including safety benefits for the traveling public, construction details, project maps and other information will be covered at the public meeting.

Staff will be available for interviews and to answer questions.
