"As soon as we heard we were so thankful. That it wasn't her," says Linda Fox.

Emotions ran high today when the news was released that the human remains found in Big Spring were those of a male.

"It hit me like a ton of bricks. I didn't know what I just heard," says April Wehba.

While searchers were relieved to find out the discovered body was not Hailey Dunn, her family is having a hard time taking it all in.

"It's gonna be to start all over, to begin again."

After three grueling days of waiting in anticipation for the results, Connie Jones is still having a hard time coming to terms with the fact that her granddaughter is still missing.

"I feel lost. It's just gonna go on and on and on," says Connie Jones.

As everyone deals with the situation in their own way, some searchers say the news brings about a sense of renewed hope.

Susie Barton says, "These remains that have been found, maybe it will make people get back up and go look for her some more. I hope it does."

Searchers are preparing to continue their searching this weekend, in hopes that Hailey is found.

"We know she's still out there. All we're asking is for Haley to come home," says Bill Scales.
