A local firefighter from the Key City is using music as therapy. Ryan Winniford works for the Texas Forest Service. He released his frist CD this weekend with his band Aces Over Eights. He says playing music has helped him get through the tough fire season.

"It started as something to do you know last years fire season was pretty devastating, was pretty rough on everybody and it started out as a hobby to get my mind away from it, but as times gone on, its become more of a second job," says Winniford.

They've performed at local clubs like Little Texas and plan on touring around the state to promote their music and their latest album.
