Anabel Reid Run for Water Raises Enough for 150 Water Wells

ACU says the Anabel Reid Run for Water was a huge success this past weekend.

The fundraiser, in honor of a cause supported by the student killed in last year's ACU bus crash, raised over $15,000 Friday night.

The money will go to the Water4 organization, and will build more than 150 water wells in Tanzania, for those who may not otherwise have access to drinking water.

The event was a 24-hour walk around the campus stadium.

Reid was the only fatality in last year's crash.
