Coleman Man Killed Riding Motorcycle in Wrong Lane

According to ColemanNews.com, a Coleman man was killed on a US Highway in Lampasas County early Sunday morning when his motorcycle collided with a pickup.

The website reports 44-year-old Darrell Glenn Horn was pronounced dead at the scene on US 281 approximately 5.5 miles north of Lampasas.

The Department of Public Safety reports that Horn was riding his 2008 Harley-Davidson south in the northbound lane at about 4:30 a.m. when it collided with a 2006 Chevrolet pickup driven by Karl Haverland of San Saba, who was not injured.

According to the report, Horn was not wearing a helmet.

He was taken to Sneed Funeral Home in Lampasas, where arrangements were pending.
